Yes, they are. Solely responsible for this situation is Sean Ellis, an entrepreneur and former Dropbox’s head of growth, who coined the term Growth hacking and now this term has become trendy in marketing area. It makes marketers to study more, think more and apply more.
Right now, Growth hacking is the most popular job of 2021. 😲
But what exactly is Growth hacking and how it is different from traditional digital marketing?
Shortly, Growth hacking is making strategies by all means and channels. The primary aim for growth hacking is “growth”. So, whatever the strategy we need, we have to apply. But the question arises how do we know what kind of strategy we need. To solve this, we get the help of data. In this digital era, data gives us all the necessary direction and ability to measure our efforts towards growth.
In my career, I came across many small business entrepreneurs and I feel that unfortunately they have very little knowledge about marketing, growth hacking or data orientation.
Lack of knowledge leads them to NOT focus on growth, say no to thinking “out the box”, and fear of losing. Which eventually leads to bankruptcy.
In 2010, I came across a very unfortunate moment of my life when I lost myself as an entrepreneur and I feel that pain. After that, I made it a mission to enhance my marketing abilities and help companies.
I believe that everything happens for something good. Now, I can feel my clients’ situation by putting my feet into their shoes. That relatability gives me power to understand them and enhance their business. Till today, my own success rate from 2015-2021 is more than 90% 😱. To achieve that, I have to feel my customers, increase my knowledge on weekly basis, I have to learn new tools and frameworks.
This is what Growth Hacking is!
I know how hard it is to be updated with the technology and new concepts. This is what Growth Hacking is! I believe that Growth Hacking cannot be done without having Growth mindset. For growth hacking you need to know the holistic view of digital marketing, you need to update yourself with latest trends and tools, you need to know the change in behavioral changes in the public.
YES! you can say NO to growth hacking. It’s your own choice. But I just dare you to think, how much that choice can cost or profit you.
